The System is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer, therefore its employment practices shall assure that all persons have an equal opportunity for employment as required by State and Federal regulations.
1. It is the policy of the System to grant equal employment opportunity to all qualified persons without regard to race, sex, age, height, weight, sexual orientation, disability, religion or national origin. Equal employment opportunity includes, but is not limited to hiring, training, transfer, promotion, demotion, termination, and all other privileges, terms and conditions of employment. The Human Resources staff shall monitor this process to assure equal employee opportunity.
2. Each employee is responsible for treating his/her associates in a manner consistent with the System's policy of maintaining a working environment free from discrimination or harassment based upon race, sex, age disability, religion or national origin. Violation of this policy by an employee may be grounds for progressive disciplinary action.
